Overallit is a good college in Assam for a diploma in engineering.
Overall The college reported a 60% placement rate with a maximum monthly salary of Rs. 30,000, major recruiters being Oil India and ONGC. Internship opportunities were widespread, with 90% of students securing positions. The predominant role offered was that of a diploma engineer. Infrastructure was deemed good, though still under construction, including digital classrooms, secure hostels, and reliable water supply. Faculty members were highly educated, friendly, and facilitated excellent teaching. The curriculum was relevant, resulting in a 95% pass rate, with manageable semester exams. Overall A strong foundation in engineering education is offered by the Assam Engineering Institute in Guwahati. The campus has state-of-the-art labs and committed academic members that make sure students have a thorough education. A pleasant academic environment is facilitated by the active student body. However, the institute offers 3-year Diploma in Engineering programs to 10th-pass students in various streams such as Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, and Chemical Engineering.
